Accessibility Matters
Why?
When content is accessible, more people can easily read, understand, and work with it. Fewer barriers mean a better experience for everyone.
How?
While there are many actions a person can take to make their content more accessible, there are some tools that should always be used in regard to accessibility. Three of those actions are making accessible heading structure, alternative text, and descriptive link text.
Openness Matters
Why?
Openness encourages collaboration, innovation, and a free exchange of ideas. It allows anyone to share, access and learn information without unnecessary boundaries.
How?
A creator should make their content and sources available for anyone to use for free. This could mean designing an app that can be used for free, collaboration websites sharing ideas freely, or as simple as not locking down any digital materials to require permissions.
